About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Knoewman. I’m originally from Rochester, New York (aka not near NYC) before living in St. Louis, Missouri for 7 years, and now Connecticut. I’ve always wanted to be a writer, and it’s been a long journey since I first started writing short stories as a kid, but I’m proud to have published my first novel, Who Do You Help?

If you read Who Do You Help?, you can probably tell I’m also a big NBA fan and that I love dogs. That is all true, however, I love pretty much all animals, and am a proud co-owner of two cats (see Gary (left) and Mookie (right) below). You may also notice in my book that food is important to me, which doesn’t mean I’m some picky foodie, but I never skip a meal or let myself get too hungry (just ask my wife).

Writing is a fun, creative outlet for me, and I’m privileged that my full-time position as a doctor lets me do this as a hobby and take whatever money I make from it and send it to various charities.

I’m Randy

Welcome to my blog! Here you can find my–in process–ten-part series exploring some of my thoughts on my book, Who Do You Help? As for what follows that series, I’m still working on it, but that’s a problem for future Randy, who I’m confident has it all figured out.
